Meet Kim

Kim has always been fascinated by childbirth and babies. After witnessing the struggle that many of her friends experienced after giving birth, she realized the importance of strong support and care in those first few weeks and months after giving birth.  Kim became a doula after working in a pediatric office for several years. Her goal as a doula is to empower new parents and help them find their inner strength and confidence when starting the new and incredible journey of parenthood. 

When Kim isn’t working as a doula and childbirth educator she spends her free time with her husband Johnny and family exploring the city, having movie dates or just hanging out at home. Kim has B.A (Hons) in Children, Childhood and Youth studies.

Why I love being a Doula

I love being a doula because in addition to providing support, building relationships with clients, empowering others and witnessing miracles; It has been such a rewarding path that grants me the opportunity to keep learning and in turn share that knowledge with others.
